“For centuries, Light is symbol of the imagination pursued by the artist”‘

TAD thematic exhibitions are curated by Yu-Chuan Tseng. There are three main venues and topics : Liang Gallery: The disappearance and appear of memory, DaGuan Gallery: The dizzy in between light on and light off , and Fish Art Center: Show and exit in existence. Through the interpretation of nearly 20 works by different artists, discuss the memory, activation and strategy of signals between switches, from analog signals to digital signals, as well as the fiction and reality of the signs and symbols constructed between the switches. Discuss with Light ON/OFF that “light” disappears from the eyes of people in the real world after the device is turned off, but remains in the signal of the virtual world and continues to be a part of the world.

「光是數世紀以來，藝術家所追尋的想像」

由曾鈺涓所策劃的主展場，分別於三個主展場尊彩藝術中心、大觀藝術空間以及秋刀魚藝術中心展出，透過三個主題「記憶的消逝與開啟」「光滅光啟的昏眩狀態」「存在的展出與退場」，將透過近20件不同藝術家作品的詮釋，討論從類比號到數位訊號，訊號在開關之間的記憶、啟動與策略，以及在此開關之間，所建構的符號與象徵之虛構與真實。以Light ON/OFF討論「光」在裝置關閉之後，從真實世界中的人們眼前中消失，卻仍留存在虛擬世界的訊號當中，繼續成為世界的一部份。
