One of the project of Chimeras’ World. Chimeras’ World keeps discussing the ways in which human beings perceive and receive information as well as move and live between the real and virtual worlds in the digital age. Chimeras’ World creates a theatrical space for physical wandering through the interactive spatial installation that connects the “real absent field” with the “virtual” one. In the process of interaction, the viewers will perceive and immerse themselves in the virtual space as well as investigate the technologically developed systems from the visual representation of and transition among data, space, time, and images. Ultimately, the digital coding in Chimeras’ World becomes a reconstructed state of existence and way of perceiving the world.
he fluorescent lines constitute an illusory indoor living space. The “home” constituted by frigid fluorescent lines is turned into a chilly and lifeless world. The audience will see the Chimeras floating in the space of the moving windows through an iPad.
